"Did you ever meet anyone famous in your Manchester Venue?"
We are often asked: did you meet anyone famous in your venue?
Not as famous as Postman Pat, I recall saying.
Now we are in Cumbria, Postman Pat’s home.
The house is in pretty-bad shape. It will take a while to sort it out.
The office is good, soft lighting and a perfect voice over studio. (Cumbria Voice Studio). You never know, maybe we’ll be part of the rise of a new but not so famous Posty Pat? It’s my genderless name. Patricia or Patrick.
We enjoy working on a longer than usual table. It can house three people and a studio space where the customer can enjoy hearing and using their voice to record their favourite poem. A scene from a play. A monologue.
Our job is to keep customers’ safe, warm, hydrated and confident in what they are aiming to achieve.
What are we aiming to achieve you ask?
To continue using our skills and experience. Retiring is not an option, what is an option is we do something ‘useful’ with ‘purpose’.
John has been busy prepping for a fun video of what we have created and produced.
Gina found thank you cards from customers from yesteryear. They were beautiful to read.
It all makes you realise what you have done and where you have been and importantly, who you have been with.
That is what we miss, relationships with people from Cumbria, Manchester, anywhere.
